Why UNO?

• The UNO handle is precision CNC machined out of aircraft-grade Aluminum and 100% recyclable.

• Hair and shaving cream cannot clog between blades, because there is just one blade.

• Hair cuttings wash completely away from the razor almost instantly under running water.

• The blade stays sharper for longer because it dries quickly and therefore slows the oxidation process which commonly plagues a multi-blade due to their propensity to trap moisture.

• A single blade is more sanitary, providing no between-blade space for bacteria to grow. Bacteria is a known cause of shaving rashes and razor burn.

• A single blade is less-costly to produce, and thus costs you less. No added gimmicks.

• Hair is cut smoothly at skin level, preventing ingrown hairs and bumps associated with the “lift-and-cut” or “tug-and-stroke” theory, which essentially drops a cut, live-growing hair back under your skin. Which... is moronic. By doing this, the outcome for a person with sensitive facial skin, curly hair or acne should be completely predictable. The same goes for a woman's bikini line. Not ideal.

• The head geometry of the UNO is nearly perfect. While it appears simple, much thought has been incorporated in the design. The leading single-edge completely disposable razor (for instance) fails miserably at detail work due to its width- making shaving under the nose extremely difficult, if not impossible.
