Every now and then, when designing tools or modifying them, you strike gold. A design or process is developed that renders into obsolescence the thing that came before it.
What's romantic about holding a thing that does a job even better, and looks amazing doing it is something all of us have experienced. These things that positively change our day-to-day, however slightly or majorly, bring us all that conclusion of “this is just the best there is” or being “today years old” when that thing... it just hits you. Like a mf has been keeping a secret from you, but you're not mad because of how good it is to finally know, and you're grinning like a fool. Just that “you son a bitch... genius!” moment.
Well... this new UNO is about to hit you exactly like that.
The weight, balance, texture and precision is the very thing we've striven to design for so long. A handle derived from feedback-oriented, practical and beautiful design. Great control while shaving at all angles, and all body parts, is now firing on all cylinders. You're going to get dynamic single-blade control, and the smoothest results from the Gen II. Our female testers love it; our male testers love it.
And we've rolled out two new product deliveries not to sleep on, as well.
1.) The Double is offered with two handles and 26 cartridges. We find this to be an extremely sensible product, which suits most for a variety of reasons (travel, 2nd home, spouse/ partner, etc.) Basically it's potentially two years of shaving, divided or combined.
2.) The Woodsman's Depot is an outrageous offering which places in your hands the Gen II handle, 241 cartridges, packaged in a polymer ammo box for safe-keeping. For the person who knows what they want, this is basically a twenty-year plan of stupidly-low shaving costs. Shaving is a lifetime commitment anyway, why not plan for it?
The Gen II utilizes the same cartridges as the Gen I, so not to worry there. We wouldn't do that to you. I mean, we all know who would, and has... but that's just not who Paul and I are.
